Good Tuner - Insufficient Range for Me

I like the tuner and how it functions (although reading it correctly took me a minute). However I’m trying to tune a double bass with it, and it won’t pick up the low E string. I believe this company has a similar app for iOS designed for bass that works great, but this one doesn’t get the job done on my Android.

Doesn't work

Tried mulitple sources, no audio input. Just got ripped off for 5 dollars. Ridiculous...

Not working

I just purchased and installed this app and I get no audio input with any of my input devices. Yes I did try rebooting the computer.
