I was disappointed because I have to download text (digits) into the program, when most of my documents are PDFs
This app works well. Older complaints have been addressed. It would be nice for the speed bar to indicate the words-per-minute rate.
I can appreciate the effort it takes to make an application, but there are some fundamental things a tool like this should be able to do. Pause. AND Resume where you left off... in the form of a bookmark. Without either of these things this is a fundamentally flawed app. To add to that. No epub support. One can get around this limitation by converting epubs to txt or rtf. No PDF support. Cannot change the speed of the reading dynamically (on-the-fly). So it's required to stop, move the slider, and start all over again - from the beggining. Cannot change the size of the font without having to stop and start all over again - from the beginning. I'm not sure why anyone would bother using this when there are two nice Chrome plugins that do a much better job of reading articles.
This app does everything I want it to except one thing. Pause the playback. As far as I know when you’re playing an article there’s no way to pause it. This means if you’re reading a long article there’s no way to take a break and resume. Either read the entire article start to finish, or restart it...
lack of control - You cannot control the font size. Better apps for this on the Android.
