This is the perfect tool to be able to show others your 3D artwork! I’m apart of a virtual reality art group that has been looking for an easy way to share their artwork! And This is the perfect app for it!
Ive tried all the file types and all i get is a textureless object .. what am i doing wrong or is the app?
Doesn’t ask for camera permissions
The feature set of this is just what I’m after, but I can’t get it to display any AR features. I can tell it’s reading my files and accepts or rejects them, but it displays nothing in the view other than the room I’m in, and there are no instructions! None! Is there something I’m missing?
The zip file I’m using contains OBJ, MTL, and image files, but the MTL and image files aren’t being read. I tried a few different image formats to rule out the possible case that this app didn’t support certain image formats, but I’m still getting the same results. I also made sure the image paths are set to “relative”. The same files are importing properly when I bring them into Blender or Unity. Ah well... I’ll give it 2 stars for being able to get the polygons to display properly and cleanly. Would make it three if the materials were able to display. More stars if there were additional flourishes such as creating a psuedo shadow on the ground, tutorials, and a bit more intuitive UI (Press the bottom right icon when the white aiming reticle appears and turns white. Took me a while to figure out that part.).
