Probably one explicit drawback is the missing of Byron....
Not sure about ownership of copyright on some newer poets. Needs looking into. Also needs search, poets arranged by last name, an alphabet slider to get to poets of choice, and poems within poet arranged so poems in a series are connected at least visually. Great selection though.
This ad heavy app has a great deal of poetry that is copyrighted and not in the public domain. Are the poets et:al being compensated for the use of these poems? The poems are poorly laid out without proper formatting and some aren’t “poems” at all. Not worth the time and exposure to intrusive ads some of which are video with all the data and battery power sucking attendant nonsense.
I love this app! I use it everyday as a quick reference when I don’t have my poetry books with me. I wish Sylvia Plath poems were included. Otherwise, fabulous app!
