Panels for Android

I had an issue with the app, and was promptly contacted by a developer after reporting the issue. They were very professional, and patched the bug quickly! Oh, and the app is pretty great too.

it goes above and beyond. I use it for manga. Lots of great tools.

I accidentally dragged a comic in the wrong collection, I couldn’t figure out how to get it out. Then I accidentally dragged a collection in to a collection. Either I have to delete everything and reload it and resort it or I just have to live with screwed up sorting.

Nice App, and I was gonna pay the annual fee for Google Drive downloads, but the app doesn’t support epub files, which many of my comics are, (and more every day, as long as Humble Bundle keeps releasing so many epub comics for such good prices.) Beyond that, there’s no great advantage over Chunky, except for the better organization features. If the app could support actual folder syncing, and mimic streaming somehow by perhaps only storing X comics on the device at a time, and auto-deleting after they are read, (while retaining thumbnails,) then that would be a killer app! Still would need epub support for me to use though.

I ended switching to YACReader after I found out Panels switched to a subscription service for whatever reason. The new money making model ended up being really inconvenient imo and I jumped ship. While Panels has a nice clean UI, I’ve been having a great time with YACReader’s iOS (one time payment) and desktop (free) app. It makes for a nice reading ecosystem for a mobile reader like me.
