I was board so I tried different strategy games, this game at first seemed a little lame, but it soon became a cool adventure game and a lot like I imagined a really cool D&D game being. If you loved lord of the rings and hobbit this is a game for you.
They just don’t make developers like this anymore… this is truly the start of something special!
If you love MTG, BG3 or any kind of turn based RPG this is the game you are looking for. I cannot recommend this enough for those of you too busy to game. I love D&D and cannot find time anymore. I am lucky to get some time to play BG3 or a quick Diablo helltide. The game hits all the necessary points for a great game and the designer gets what we love in RPG. This game allows for a quick 2-5 minute round that you can put down and play later. I loved the predecessor “Summoners Fate” where we could battle each other in a turn based format since we could never get together. Gameplay is always new, there are tons of different things to dry with your deck and artifacts.
I had low expectations going in but it’s far exceeded them. It’s got a deck building, Baldur’s Gate lite feel to it. Very much one of those games that you convince yourself to play “just one more game” and then you lose track of time. First game in years that one moment it was 11pm and the next I’m up until 5am. Worth the messed up sleep schedule.
Really fun strategy game with a bit of luck component. No pay to win, no ads, and very responsive game developer. Highly recommended.
