Love this app. I like song star ratings, but Google has been making it harder and harder to use them. This app puts the ability to quickly rate a song right in my wrist. One thing to note: if you set the Google watch to keep the last used watch app on screen longer, *and* if you don't ever open the native music app on the watch, StarTone will stay on the watch screen. Once you open the native Google watch music app, it will keep coming back to the foreground.
For years I’ve tried to find a rating-focused app, but they all required music to be manually synced with iTunes. This is the first I’ve seen that can use the iCloud Music Library PLUS it has a great Google Watch app, which is exactly what I was looking for! 😁👍
The main reason l purchased this app is that l can easily check/edit 5-star rating of any song, unlike the native app. I also like that the album art is displayed on a bigger area compared to Android’s music app. Displaying file’s lyrics is very easy. However, when showing a list of songs in an album for example, 5-star rating isn’t shown next/below every song, but you have to open every single song to check that. Also, when playing a song, lt’s order/number in an album or a playlist isn’t shown, as well as the total play time. I hope the developers add these features to the next update soon.
