Another great Secret Files game. Main character is very funny. If you liked the first 3 this one is a natural
This game lost me at the intro....the writing is terrible, ridiculous and dated. I really wish I hadn’t given this company money.
Like the character and don't mind the language though there were a couple of spots it seemed overdone. Interesting story concept though not particularly realistic (I work in that field)--but liked it a lot. Very good graphics and character movement, mostly, but has the same issues noted with Tunguska--has to walk a very specific path to look at or examine certain objects, even if already right next to it--and movement very natural at times but not so much other times. I think I prefer the way the inventory was set up for Tunguska--a row at bottom of page rather than having to open the suitcase and covers the screen but that is minor and personal preference. Biggest issue is the short story. Not even half the content of Tunguska (though I guess that is why it costs so much less) and very few other characters--even the couple of other characters have very limited "screen time." Another minor issue was found it very difficul to successfully click on some the magnifying glasses that denoted items to examine. Sometimes there would be no response and other times you'd highlight Sam (because she was standing there) but you couldn't get the item. Found the puzzles to be less obtuse than Tunguska (maybe just because were fewer of them) but still a couple where the solution seemed kind of random. From what I've seen of these devs, I like their offerings and would recommend their apps but this one less enthusiastically because of how short it is and the lack of characters other than Sam Peters.
Just when you think it’s about to get started, it ends. Not worth buying.
Brilliant graphics, captivating detail and story line, and a very cute main character. The only thing was I had to restart my 12.5 inch 4th gen. Mobile pro when I tried to save the game just after Sam lit the fire in the camp after arranging the sensors. It went into some kind of a feedback loop with “saving” frozen on the screen. But after that everything went smoothly. Save the game yourself. Don’t trust the “saved” prompt. Save it frequently. And enjoy. It’s a fantastic game.
