PhotoSpring for Android

I received a PhotoSpring device as a gift (to receive photos and video of my cutesy granddaughter). I have had the device about six months. The set up was not very difficult. The email address for folks to send photos to my device was sent out. Photos and video are received. But, it is very querky. My daughter will send some and ask if I have received them; most of time the answer is no, I have not. Sending video is frustruating because it sometimes works and sometimes does not. So, now she will just send photos. In the past I was able to email photos and video from the device to my personal email account. Now, I cannot do that. There seems to be no support to figure out how to make this product work like it is supposed to work. I have reset it numerous times; it is in the same room as my high-speed router (300 MB download)... so, like the title states -- Great idea but poor performance. PhotoSpring... please make a better product... it really is a great idea.

Hard to believe this app hasn't been updated in at least 2 years. Only able to upload entire folders of images. A waste for me. The website is the better option.

This app needs LOTS of work.

For some reason, this App is just a sometimes operation. Sometime it just doesn't open; won't let you send pics; doesn't receive pics from those who have codes and send previously. Don't consider this if it's for someone who is NOT computer savy and who doesn't have a lot of patience.

Can't use App so unable to access much of the functionality
