Advanced setting feature is to set up your wifi to the device. It is poorly designed, as it is locked and they offer no help to troubleshoot this feature. You only have one way to enable camera to work with the app, and it’s with the reset button. If this button does not work, then you are no able to use the advanced setting in the app menu to set up any wifi connection. This is a waste of time, and sad considering it is a pricey product. This is terrible for Samsung standards. I wouldn’t buy this again or recommend anyone to buy if you can’t use the app, to go mobile on your phone.

The app does not work. It does not connect. It does not open all the settings. We have two cameras, but the charging port on the monitor broke within one year. So we wanted to use the app as an alternative option. The connection keeps failing, cannot use at all. Restarted, reopened multiple times. I do not recommend this product or the app. Although, the cameras has nice features, so I am disappointed that I cannot use them to view the room.

We started using this after our Baby View monitor’s charging port began to malfunction. Since we bought two cameras, we didn’t want to scrap $300+ worth of equipment. Unfortunately, that’s what will likely happen. This app constantly has problems keeping a WiFi connection active, or even connecting to the camera. It’s missing features that the now failed monitor has, such as: temp and humidity information as well as camera pan and tilt functions. 1/5 is generous, and I can’t believe Samsung would support such a lackluster developer performance. Pass on the app, and definitely pass on Samsung as they don’t bother to stand behind their products. Never again.

I tried reviving the camera I have since the monitor died a couple of years ago. I had this stored in my babies closet and though maybe I could re-download the app and get the camera to work. The app is completely useless and the camera never connected to WiFi. This was a gift and wish I had taken it back when it was given to us over 2 years ago. Guess I’ll just throw the camera away along with the useless monitor it came with. Samsung this was a huge disappointment of a product. Not even sure it’s on the market anymore I sure hope not!

Love the camera and monitor but the phone app is terrible with no way for technical support to help.
