This used go be my goto app for fonts on iPadOS… now it just gives me a “Profile Error” for every font I try. Last update was over a year ago, so I think it’s safe to say the apps been abandoned.
I followed the instructions to a T, however, the instructions must be for an older operating system than what I’m using, because where they say to go, does NOT EXIST!
I’ve had success and failures in trying to install fonts with this. Sometimes I get an error saying that the font payload must contain only one font. Not sure if there’s an issue with some of the font files I’m trying, but it would be swell if the app tried to verify them instead of having the OS just reject the entire profile with no clue as to which font is the issue. No updates to the app in quite a while, and no support.
Reliably crashes every time I try to “install” my fonts.
Google has decided for some reason that you, the over of your device, should only be able to install Google approved fonts downloaded from the App Store. This app works around this stupid restriction using configuration profiles. And it's free and open source!
