I love this app! Perfect for falling asleep. I use the “Force Times Mass” track for that purpose (even though it’s not recommended), because personally, I *need* the sound of train horns to feel fully immersed in the experience. I’ve logged over 70,000 long distance miles on passenger rail, and the sound of the horn, railroad crossing signals, etc overnight has never kept me from falling asleep—on the contrary, they are the difference between feeling like you’re actually on a train versus just another white noise app. So...if you do add more sounds (and I really hope you will), how about adding some more tracks filled with different train horns for those of us who love them? Please? Even if you don’t add any more tracks, this is still a 5-star app, and that’s what I’m rating it. Hope you’ll continue to expand it and add to it!
I bought this because the Serpentine sample said it was included with the Railfan collection. It is not. Huge disappointment!
I bought this to block out background noise at work. I love the 3D effects and the sounds of trains are soothing and not glaringly repetitive (in a short playback loop). The only suggestion I would make is that it does not run in the background. I would love to hear it in the background while playing an audiobook for example.
Love this app. A very usable thing indeed. Wonderfuly accessible with VoiceOver. Love when devs make their apps like that even if they never thought of it in the first place. You guys deserve a 10-star rating. Keep up the fabulicious work!!!!!!!!
