This app lacks consistency, some pages open some pages don’t.
For at least the last five days I’ve had problems getting into the newspaper. Haven’t had this issue before. Yesterdays paper comes up and I’m looking for an arrow or something to go to todays and end up having to get frustrated and it finally goes or I have to delete app and start all over again.
We've been with this paper for years and now it tells me the new version is not compatible with my Mobile ! I'll be ending all my subscription and future business with this RAG !
I’ve been a subscriber to the digital PE and can honestly say this new version is very buggy and not an improvement over the prior version of the app. I have reported numerous issues to no avail so thought I would list just a few of the bugs here in hopes to get the attention of an iOS developer and possibly get them fixed(and make the app much more user friendly). Prior app allowed you to configure a “Single tap” to read an article (Enlarge it). That option is gone and I now have to double tap to enlarge an article to read. Double tapping on an article dows not frame it on my Mobile screen. Instead it defaults to the upper left of the page forcing the user to then scroll to try and find the article to read The header bar covers the top portion of the page after returning to the entire page view forcing the user to scroll to the next page the go back to reframe the header bar. Oh, and the pop up ad at the bottom of the page will also cover some of the text from the paper. This new version definitely a step backwards from the prior version and is now as user friendly as the prior version. Whoever QA’d this version sure missed a lot of issues for those of us who read (or try to read) the paper on an Mobile.
I called and they said someone from technology would call me and they didn’t. I will keep calling and writing these reviews. Peter a paying subscriber to the digital version. PMJ my initials
