If this worked I would donate but it’s terrible
I use this for pronunciation training. It’s hands-free and allows you to adjust the decibel threshold and the duration of silence before a recording is automatically ended, which is wonderful. Unfortunately, every time I speak, the first moment of the recording is cut off. This means if I’m practicing “hello”, what I hear back is “ello”, every time. I would pay for any of these features: - use a rolling buffer to record constantly, and include the preceding half-second at the beginning of playback, so that I can hear “hello” instead of “ello” - record and play as a background app, so that I can read sample passages from another app while using this one - allow me to select which microphone and which speaker are being used. Right now, it uses the Android’s, even if I have Bluetooth headphones connected As a sidenote, there’s a gigantic market for this app in voice therapy and language learning. I would research the relevant fields, and add appropriate keywords to the description. It was surprisingly hard to find an app that does this; I think a lot more people would use it if it were easier to find.
