Scammers text you to confirm a fraudulent order in your Amazon account. Once on the phone, they lie about how someone used your account info and money to order something. Lastly, They convince you to download this app to give them access to your phone, computer or whatever device.

My grandma got scammed over 3400 dollars. So this is the story..(stay close children this is a long story, here’s some pizza that I never got to eat 🍕)Me and my grandma just left a friends house and we’re on our way to get pizza. Then my grandma got a message that started this whole mess. The message said over 700 hundred dollars has been charged to her account” she didn’t really pay attention cause she was driving.but when we were stopped waiting for our pizza I looked up from my phone and I saw the message. I told my grandma about it and she was confused. So she called the number it provided… 2 hours the people were scamming her makeing her do stuff. They made her drive to different places, she had to walk around with a broken flip flop. They made her take a picture of her and her ID. My grandmother had to drive to different towns and waste more gas. This is one out of 3 apps they made her download. My grandma is hurt cause they took almost all her money. So if you get a message from an unowned number saying money has been charged call this number for questions or somthing like that DONT CALL. Instead call your bank and see if that money has been charged.

This is a scam they know everything you do so don’t use it

I believe that some of these apps should be erased from the App Store because they’re the tools that the scammers are using I had no access to my Amazon account to my TV and a link to me to amazon.com/mytv and someone called me from there and they started to help me and they did help me that’s the crazy part they told me to download this app and they were saying that someone was using my account from taxes in Connecticut and that they were going to help me secure my account and since they help me with my TV I figured while maybe they areAmazon workers but they started telling me to get these credit cards on Amazon and redeem them and I almost fell for it so just be careful out there anybody tells you to download this app don’t do it
