Very Confusing Interface HELP...!!!

Excited to try this app. I open it only to see a world map with my location on it. No explanation how to use it. No button to mark where car parked. Only a settings button with a few options... Nice color themes... but for what? No explanations how to use. And one little link that will take you to the credits page... or: movie credits type of page... So how do you use this...??? I don’t have a clue.... most user unfriendly app I have seen so far... I have a feeling this could be great by the store description.... if there was only a way to figure out how to use this.... Maybe a few buttons on the map would help... so frustrated that I am about to give up and delete... Can somebody explain to me how to use this...???
