I want my money back. There are many free web alternatives that are better and quicker than this.
I just put 250 huge JPGs from my photographer (about 4GB worth) into Squash and was able to remove about 2.2GB. I was amazed. I've been using Squash for a couple years now and it always works when I need it. One feature request I would have is to be able to batch resize and change dpi. It would be great to take a large 300dpi pic and not only Squash it, but change all the pics to a certain percentage of resolution size and to set the DPI. right now I do that individually in Preview but it is annoying. This app is anything but.
I didn't think it was possible for an app to be perfect, yet here we are. Solves a super annoying problem, does exactly what is says without any problems, and it's a delight to use.
Need a refund. Does not save files on Mojave.
I can always go free with open source tools, but when you have a well-designed Android app that just works fast and easy like this, I’m happy to pay for it. That said, I do hope the file type in/out options expand over time. TIFF/JPG/PNG doesn’t cover a lot of ground. And if there’s any FEATURE I’d say was missing, it would be the option to set a megabyte limit for a batch. Enter a value, and the compression would vary on each image to automatically limit file size to that value. Otherwise, nice work.
