It is working good. A little stricky for settling it up, but it works very well.
I've been using a variety of Shelly devices for over a year. They work great, but the App has been frustrating. Lately when I open it - it just stays blank. I can delete it, re-install it, and it will work fine for a few days before it reverts to a black screen again. Lather, rinse, repeat. I am giving up on the App and just using Home Assistant to access my Shelly devices. I know Shelly will get the App bugs ironed out eventually, so I'll periodically check back in to see how that's going.
The app just assumes you know what it’s trying to do. Search for a new device: it must be on the same Wi-Fi network, but it has its own Wi-Fi network. I can never find the device! I set it up using it’s network, connect it to MY network. But then it’s gone! It’s up and working right now, but I can NEVER see it. I just want to turn off the Wi-Fi network that it is broadcasting, I can’t connect to it to get into the settings! Ugh! So frustrating! The part is great but when “look” for it I. The app, it locks me into the search page and I can’t go back to change the network it’s trying to search on. Grrrrr. The apps needs some serious help. It should be more intuitive. Maybe have some directions and explanations as I’m trying to set these things up.
Product is mildly infuriating. The devices would not link up to Starlink. I established another network (netgear) and used a different browser to register them to the new network. If you are having problems it may be your network(router) or the browser you are using. Based on my experience, Starlink and Safari did not play nicely with the Shelly devices network reassignment procedure.
Seems to work overall, but I haven’t found a way to change the temp units to Fahrenheit. Seems like such a basic thing to miss for a product on sale in the US.
