Worked Great

This update worked great on my iOS Mobile. No instructions on how to do it, but pretty intuitive. PLX3 must be plugged in to car’s OBD port for power and Bluetooth conx established on your Mobile, Android, whatever. When connected, the name of the Plx unit shows. Select it and run the update. It will probably be helpful to be in range of your/a WiFi conx. After the update, I had to turn off the Bluetooth conx and back on to see the new firmware version. Since I had a check engIne light, I tried the Kiwi App with the skimpy 1 hr trial. Running the engine and performing a scan returned a couple of codes and took me to a website which explained them. Since they were minor, I wanted to clear them which required buying the Basic license for $10. Cheaper than going to a shop for sure! All in all, I’m very satisfied and highly recommend the software.

DOES NOT WORK

I tried updating my kiwi3 and it keeps telling me it has timed out. The reason I tried updating is because my kiwi3 stopped connecting and it does not show up on Bluetooth list of connected devices.
