Sense-U Baby for Android

Poor connectivity. Especially if used on more than one device to check. Bluetooth CAN do multichannel. Same for notifications, doesn’t work on more than one device. If you don't disconnect or close the application on one of the phones or ipads, doesn’t connect on the other ones. (Without the base, during travel, walks for instance) Degrees for “temperature drop”slider doesn’t specify weather it is a F or C scale (slider for selection of temperature change doesn’t specify what standard is used F or C) Other multiple issues with connectivity. Great idea, needs to be worked on. Since the discovery of multiple issues - decided not to go for a full set with baby monitor cameras etc. to each their own.

I have searched the entire app and followed the instructions in the manual, which font even match up with the app. I’m so disappointed. This is a very expensive monitor and I bought it specially for the breathing reading, but it’s the only feature not available. The box literally says “Sense-U Video + Breathing Baby Monitor” but every time I go on the app there is NO OPTION ANYWHERE to turn the breathing reading on. I can’t find any help online either. I don’t recommend this monitor. I should have stuck with the original owlet. Their breathing monitor actually worked fine and was easy to find and you actually got what you paid for. I feel scammed.

The product works well, but I have to give it 3 starts based on the fact that there's no way to turn off ad/marketing notifications. I don't need 3+ notifications a day about a sale on a device that I already own. It's ridiculous that there is no way to turn these types of notifications off. Like another reviewer said, you have to turn notifications completely off to get rid of them, which makes the device pretty much useless.

i started getting notifications every 30 mins about sales and i don’t know how to shut it off. i kept thinking it was an alarm for my son. & the app is confusing to read.

The monitor works well but you have to go into the app to turn it on and off. A button on the sensor itself would be more useful. Unfortunately I have had to disable notifications for the app, rendering it mostly useless, due to the amount of ads they're pushing through notifications. With the holidays coming up I'm receiving multiple notifications each day advertising their sales. There is no option to disable marketing notifications so I turned them off completely. Sad that they take advantage of the fact that parents will want notifications on to monitor their baby so they push more advertising.
