I've been using this to slow down tracks (both backing tracks and the original track with all parts) to practice playing guitar along to. Easy to set speed to something slower so I can work out the part and then speed up as I learn it better. I love the multiple loops you can make - I'll take each hard section (solos, difficult chord transitions) and create a loop for each, then loop over a section at slow speed until I get it right. And, when I close the app and reopen the same file in it later, it remembers all of my loops. Amazing!
I will change this review if the app support can fix the problem. Support did write me an email and are working on the solution. I like this program but, As of now, I can only open 1 song. When I try to open another song it just keeps opening the first song I tried. I guess I can only learn 1 song? Why did I pay money for this? Let's see what the developers have to say. I will remove this review if they can fix this for me.
Super app. Easy to use and does exactly what it promises. Been using it for a couple of weeks to slow down recordings for a language class. [I'm not using pitch features etc.] Super smooth and intuitive. No glitch! and the loop features are absolutely perfect. emailed developer and got an immediate response. Highly recommend if you need to slow down any audio file.
I have been playing guitar for 30 years and have used many forms of a product like this. This one is better than the others. I must admit it took me a while to figure it out, and it must be noted that this has no amp simulation or effects modulation. I use the tonebridge amp effects you can find in the app store for my guitar sound and slomo to slow down the songs or passages I want to learn. I play in standard E and to detune to Eb is a pain with a locking nut. With this app I can raise or lower the pitch of the song and then with the fine tuner, get the exact tuning the player on the recording is in. After that its easy to slow down the song while keeping the same tuning you just dialed in. Brilliant!! This is a five star product and I would recommend it to everyone that plays an instrument.
My first review got 5 stars; and now I’ve discovered that it has both coarse and fine tuning control to zero into the exact tuning of the user’s instrument i.e.., guitar or harmonica, or whatever you are practicing with to learn the song. Just excellent in my opinion. Is there a 6th star? Jim Harkins
