PreTest Psychiatry Self-Assessment and Review Reviews

    • Concerning errors to basic questions

A vignette question about the receptor binding of risperidone has the incorrect answer that D4 and 5HT6 are principal binding sites, and D2 and 5HT7 were marked incorrect. This is a concerning error and makes me uncomfortable with the answer explanations for material I am less familiar with. Had I encountered this question during my trial run, I would not have paid for the app. 4/26/20 update So, after spending quite a bit of time with other testing platforms and seeing how dreadful they are, I’m more inclined to trust pretest especially since their citations have page numbers in commonly used psychiatry texts. It’s clear, the occasional error is to be expected. Revising my review to 4 stars
