There are too many issues with this app. It needs a complete overhaul. It has been over two years since the developer posted any updates. The only thing I can do with this app is look at my account information. It does not work and has never worked properly with my Yale Assure lock!
Says to press 8 which the lock does not enable as an option. Besides that it’s incomprehensible how Yale is fine with the mess of apps and not even a good description of their purpose.
Very confusing on which Yale app to use for what purpose. Once you get to the right app, they are horrendous to use. Then the IT support team is also terrible, and doesn’t even know how to help you change your password. Truly unbelievable experience. Lock is one thing, but the mobile app and customer support is ridiculous!
Wake up yale. Why have so many apps? Why have apps that only work with one module? I have a zigbee module and none of the apps work. They just steal your information. The locks are great, but the software kills the entire product experience. It’s 2020 and your app development is a sad excuse for technology. I will never buy another yale product until this changes. Look at the ratings for your apps and wake up. Useless software and a waste of time.
I've had three Yale Assure Locks for over a year. They and the original app worked fine on my Android and Mobile. Lately I've been getting a message that "for security reasons only one set of virtual keys can be stored on a single phone." which on it's face is stupid. I had to delete the app and reinstall. Now nothing works. I can't even get the app to activate. Two calls to product support tells me that a "fix" will be available "soon." The first was over a month ago. Tech Support is non-existent. The app is useless. If you buy an Assure Lock get Samsung Smart Things hub, etc. to make it work remotely.
