I love the clean style of the art, the fun and interesting sounds and music, and the puzzles are interesting too! Not sure why this isn’t more popular... I only found it from App Unwrapper’s list of favorite games.
This is a fantastic puzzler. It looks wonderful: such a cool design. And the mechanic is novel. Level design is very solid. Some of the later puzzles are quite hard. Thankfully, it now has a full undo button. I don’t love the move counter, but of course one can ignore that. I’d like the portals to be color coded, but that is a pretty minor quibble with a game which is, overall, very easy to recommend to folks looking for a proper set of puzzles.
reky is a premium puzzler with 95 levels, where you can compete for better scores and the minimum amount of moves per level. The aesthetics, original concept and replayability make this a solid puzzler.
This game has a nice aesthetic, but games like this live and die on their level design and controls... both of which have major issues here. The controls are unintuitive and even with an (awkward) opening tutorial, it was hard to know how to actually use the game. The level design is simultaneously not challenging and visually difficult to understand, which leads to a lot of frustration because it’s just hard to predict how things will move or why. Moreover the levels unexpectedly add in new mechanics with no warning. If the tutorials had been incorporated into the initial level design rather that being a contextless barrage at the beginning this probably wouldn’t be such an issue. All in all, this feels like a game where the designers aimed to make a modern visually compelling puzzle game and but didn’t put enough effort into making the core game play and mechanics satisfying and intuitive... which is kind of required for the genre.
