Apollo Cloud for Android

Do not waste your money on this. The device is a $400 paper weight and the program itself is hit and miss. Sometimes it will work and sometimes it will completely refuse to connect. And forget about customer service - it is a cell phone number that has an automated response from Verizon saying the number is unavailable.

I purchased the Apollo Duo 2 in April of 2018. It is August 2019 and the unit along with the app stopped working. Needless to say I lost a great deal of data, mostly clients data. I expressed my frustration and the customer service only solution was to get a new one at my expense or return my unit and get a new one from them in abut a month. HORRIBLE!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THE APP AND PRODUCTS - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

This is a terrible product, terrible app. Worst replacement of TimeMachine than a rock. Wish I could take it back, but its been not working for so long, that its not worth the hassle

I’m sure this works much better on a PC but I have that it’s almost useless on a Android. Very slow and tech support doesn’t know how to work with macs so that’s a huge problem. Do yourself a favor and just buy a 4tb external and don’t deal with the hassle of working with a system clearly designed for PC.

Going to return this product based on the app. I have not even gotten to try it on my Android yet but most of my photos are stored on my phone so it was easiest to start loading from the app. All I can say is I waited days for them to load. The app must be open (you cannot do anything else on your phone while loading or it will go offline). So basically your phone has to be set down for hours (or days at a time) on a charger since it quickly drains the battery. Not possible. Not to mention every 3-5 minutes the app drops mid-loading so you must restart the whole process. So disappointed in such a high rated product.
