Superstar JYPnation is a great rhythm game and has all of the songs you would love to hear in it. The gap in between each difficulty can be pretty rough but feels rewarding. What really holds this game back is peripheral user experience issues that make it feels tedious to navigate the game. The most notable issue with the game is that the load times are excessively long between booting the game and navigating to any new UI screen in game. Similar games with larger inventories and shops take a fraction of the time to load, so something is slowing it down more than expected. I play on an Android 8 with only the game application open on a solid wifi connection. Another issue for the game is that the UI to manage cards lacks intuitive ways to view many of them at once, and the sorting options are lackluster (can't view only unlocked cards, for one example). In addition, when you get new cards or view them by theme, there are no options to lock them or upgrade them from that UI, which means hopping in between UI menus more often, exacerbating the load time issues. Normally issues like this aren't that big of a deal, but they really slow down the game, making it hard to enjoy for extended periods of time.

This game let me do the test run and it was so hard.And now it won’t let me load in it’s so stupid.
