Have played with this the couple of hours since purchasing. Would like a simple, easy way to add a few touches of color to a b/w photo but find this not intuitive at all. And no easy places to find simple help. Sorry I purchased.
I’m surprised this Appp does not have more reviews. I bought the App as part of Two Dollar Tuesday and glad I did, There is a Pro version that costs quite a bit more but the non Pro version will satisfy many. When I first started out I was not getting too good of results but you can play around with this app and learn how to use it. There are also Tutorials that will help a lot. I have been getting some pretty good results when converting a Black and white photo to color. Just use the Color picker to select a color then use the pen tool to add in your colors. If you don’t like the results you can easily switch back to edit mode and try again. One con is Drag and Drop to load a picture is not supported yet. I Emailed support and was told that was going to be added.
CODIJY passed my most basic test: if I open it and don't read the instructions, can I still make it do something and enjoy the results? The answer was yes! My first test (on a challenging b&w photo) yielded good colorizing results. I can only assume that the results will improve when I learn what to do (grin). I also give points to the very responsive customer support folks. I couldn't get the app to open (turns out it needs OSX 10.7, not 10.6.6 - and they're updating the app description) and they were very quick to respond and helpful in every way.
