Been using this app for a while. I don’t understand why none of the other book-tracking apps don’t allow you to plan your reading out, so you know how many pages to read each day based on your finish date goals. Blows my mind, honestly. That’s why I stay with this app. If I skip a day or two, I appreciate seeing what I need to read to finish on time. Other apps offer a lot of stats and stuff, but they don’t help you break down reading requirements to help you reach your goals. I wish I could create lists or that tags could filter the main “read” page. I prefer for my archive to be my finished books. I have started making “books” that become titles or dividers for months or my “to read” sections. However, it would be much cleaner if I could plan for a month/quarter using lists or filtered tags in the main Read section. One annoying thing I have noticed is that new books put into the app sometimes shift back to the top after they have been organized. It’s like it didn’t sync fully. Usually, it only happens once, maybe twice, and then they stay put.
I have been using this app for years and the developer clearly cares about improving their product. Great for us data bugs who love stats on our reading speed.
This app is amazing! I bought the feature for multiple books don’t know if it’s free now but yeah. One of my favorite things is the Game Center leaderboard! But the app stopped singing me into Game Center and Idk how to make it do that again :( edit : nvm fixed it
I’ve been recommending this app to my Wife who teaches high school English…so that she can recommend Leio to her students… but now I keep seeing an add for an app (called Dipsea) that basically tells sexualized romance fantasy stories. I really wish these adds would stop. I don’t recommend this app for younger children anymore.
I almost use this app everyday. Growing up, I didn’t care too much to read, preferring something more visual like movies and television. I could read when I had to for school projects or articles, but I dreaded it. Since then I have found some authors and books that really interest me over the years, and have been caught deciding whether or not to purchase the digital (e-book) version or the physical book. I love the statistics and calculations e-books have to offer, yet miss the vintage smell of classic books and the turning of the pages. Ever since I started using Leio it’s helped me read more and more. It is adaptable for either digital and physical books and keeps a digital bookshelf and progress all in one place while keeping up with the data as I progress through the books. Truly, an amazing app indeed. Thank you! An Google Watch feature would be handy giving an option to select the book, start, pause, and end reading sessions. Just a suggestion, that would be cool.
