I was locked out of my apartment for almost 3 hours before the company had to come and completely remove the lock. Whoever thought opening your door with an app was more convenient than a key is a moron. This will not add value to your building. It is not convenient. Do NOT use this

Worst UX possible

Latch as an idea is a classic example of a solution that is not needed, yet has been hyped because it is digital and shiny. The UX of needing this system in a large apartment is a hassle that did not exist before with a normal key fob. Phone died? Well you’re screwed Forgot your phone to step into the hallway? Door locks automatically Community locks around my building at a hit or miss. When they don’t work, the app freezes the phone entirely
