They advertised this as compatible with the Air 2s and shouldn’t. It may be able to connect with the drone but it certainly won’t fly it smoothly. Far better results with DJI’s own app. Very disappointed
Very different interface from dji but I’m getting used to it. However I’ve run into a painful bug and a painful feature… BUG AEB with manual exposure glitches out on my Air 2S. It takes the first 2 exposures just fine but goes to and 8 second exposure for the 3rd bracketed shot. The behavior is inconsistent but I couldn’t get rid of it completely unless I went into Auto Exposure. The issue happened when I started at ISO 100, f2.8, 1/1000s, but also occurred at other starting shutter speeds. FEATURE I love that Pano mode works along side AEB but it needs to support just a single row of shots just like I would do for a manual pan across the skyline. I don’t usually need a spherical shot from my pantos and I’m just trying to get a wider view. When I tried to set the height the setting only goes down to 10° and takes normal across the horizon shots and then adds tiny shifts for the next rows of pans. This would actually make the most sense (to me) if I could set the rows just like I can set the columns.
Litchi is a great app in the sense of it does what it’s supposed to do, but, the tracking is one of the things that almost all litchi users got the app for; and it needs lots of working on. When I try to track our rzr utv while out in the canyons the tracking square gets bigger and bigger and freaks out when it cant find what it’s supposed to be tracking. Fox the square getting bigger. It’s annoying and there’s literally no reason for it to do that.
I placed on follow me next thing you know it decides to turn the drone away from and caused it to crash against my house.
This app still needs a lot of improvements. The Tracking feature does not work well - constantly loosing the object it tries to track. Follow me feature works sometimes. I’m not sure why the tracking feature doesn’t track the remote. Instead, it tracks the GPS position of the phone. The drone could be 6ft to 10ft off and turn in a completely different position. The stick controls are buggy as well. Waypoint does not work at all. The DJI Mini 2 does not focus on the POI at all. This app is very buggy and will need a lot of improvements.
