Nice app except for one problem

We enjoyed “Romeo and Juliet” & “ LES CONTES D'HOFFMANN”, etc., but were constantly distracted by pauses and dropped frames in the streaming feed. This is not a problem of distance or the internet connection— we stream opera from Berlin with no such issues. The problem seems to be that the Android Staatsoper app is not properly buffering the streaming feed. Most such apps will show that the app is reading ahead of the current play location but this app shows nothing like that, and judging from the jerkiness of the feed, no buffering appears to be performed. This is something the app developers should fix.

Imposible to cancel

I don’t use it anymore but there is no way to cancel the monthly payments. It keeps charging to my card

It works

Not sure what the issue was, but it certainly works now. Have to watch concerts for a class, so during quarantine this is really useful.

The subscription period is not stated at purchase

The app offers a subscription for about $19, but whether it is for a month or a year or for any other period is not stated. So I did not buy one. This really should be made clear.
