Great for beginners and pros! Easy and no bugs! It was worth the money! I recommend using it. Only thing is the colors it doesn’t come out the color it shows.BUT GREAT!
I don’t normally write reviews, but I had to for this app. Constantly crashes, even just by deleting a frame. Frames often times randomnly disappears, whichs means you’ll be losing at least an hour of work very often. Don’t bother making good animations on this app. It’s unusable, and you’ll probably lose your hard work. Save your money and look elsewhere. This app is utter garbage.
[SEE UPDATED REVIEW BELOW] This could be a fantastic app, and from what I’ve managed to bumble around and find out what it can do thus far is fairly impressive. The reason that I am giving it such a low rating is because of the utterly shocking lack of instructions on how to use the app ANYWHERE. And I’ve looked. And looked. And looked. No YouTube videos, no written instructions, no how-tos, nothing on the web. I’ve watched the videos included with the app and yeah, it’s great to watch a Disney animator do his thing, but he doesn’t really go into any specific explanations of how things work and why from a project setup standpoint. For instance, I’m setting up a new project. I imported a .png. The background is solid black, which defeats the entire purpose of having a .png with a transparent background. I want the background to be transparent, and I’ve wasted several hours trying to figure out a workaround as to why the background is solid black instead. This is just one of many instances where I’ve had to waste hours of my time trying to figure things out on my own, when some simple instructions could’ve showed me how to do this in :15 seconds or less. I could go on and on, but suffice it to say that with the potential greatness that this app could have had, I’m just in a state of disbelief that the developers failed to deliver (or simply overlooked) something as basic as a “101 Tutorial” to go along with it. My rating (since you asked over and over and over again): The app itself, 5-stars, Instructions on how to use the app - 0 Stars. * UPDATED REVIEW * After my initial review, the developers reached out to me and provided a link to some really great tutorials and instructions. You can find it in their response to me. This is exactly what I needed. My only wish is that I had it sooner as I wasted A LOT of time fumbling around trying to figure things out on my own. Other than that, I find it to be a near-perfect app, and find myself using it quite a bit.
The ability to turn off touch on canvas Adding warping like squash and stretch post sketch (transform tools) The ability to transform rotate and scale images brought in
I’ve never tried making animated gifs but this app made it easy to learn especially with the tutorials. I wonder if there’s a way to move the frames around into different sequences?
