I rely heavy on the cycle days because my cycles are very long (30+ days and it can be anxiety inducing sometimes) But with this new update I can no longer see how many days into my cycle I am like before. Now I have to go into the calendar section and count from the first day of my last period. It would also be nice if there was a “notes” area to put more detailed notes in the log because sometimes emojis don’t quite do the job. I’ve been using this app for years. It’s been good but I don’t like this new update at all. Rewrote my review and knocked a star off because of this.
Things I’d love to see Ability to set tracking/reminders for other medications Ability to make notes in the log Aesthetically, I would rather the log page only have the log and a preview to where im at in my cycle - maybe a notification spot for important information such as abortion legislation Service page separate from the FAQs - I didn’t realize for a long time if you scroll on the services you’ll find the FAQ’s. That info would be dope as a “Discover” page with a search bar and each topic gets a highlighted box. Anyways great functionality but could design better to show off what it has.
The new update won’t show any tracking history.
Update: even after emailing support, nothing worked. I really hope young girls who are using this don’t get messed up when it says to skip placebos even though the doctor say to take them. I downloaded this app to compare against another one I’ve been using. Problem is that this app tells me to skip my placebo pills and start taking a new pack. No, I won’t. So since I’m still taking my placebo pills it’s telling me that I’m not protected. Unless there is a way to correct this, it’s a pretty useless app for me.
This is my favorite period-tracking app, function-wise. I like the little things it has me track. I’ve tried other apps and always come back to this one. But it seems to keep dumping my data every few weeks. It has the dates of my periods, but if I go back to check PMS symptoms or whether my flow was heavy or not, the app doesn’t have anything. So it’s fine if you’re just tracking dates, but if you actually want to know anything about your cycle, this won’t save it.
