I downloaded this app to see how good and how much I sleep at night, and I saw that half of the stats showed me sleeping into the afternoon!? Not true! I never get out of bed as late as 11 AM, let alone 2 PM! Otherwise, this app looks very promising.
According to this app I have been asleep for 359 hours. Somebody call my doctor. Lame
This app is helpful but not overly accurate in some respects (sleep vs. wake). However, what I found fascinating is that my monthly cycles are directly influencing my sleep score. The pulse rate in women is several points higher during times of fertility and menstruation. For women looking at their fertility, this might be of interest. And for women of reproductive age, it’d also be helpful to have the app share that these fluctuations are normal. Perhaps this is one of those times when it’s especially relevant to have women involved in development, since I’m pretty sure my sleep isn’t abysmal for 1/3 of the month because my body is going through normal hormonal changes. I’m not sure how relevant the algorithm is as a result.
I loved the layout and design of the app, but it won’t actually track my sleep. I’ve followed all the guidelines, tried for the last two weeks, purchased a month subscription, but still can’t get it to recognize I’m sleeping. I’ve never had this problem with other sleep apps. Would recommend avoiding this one. Seems like a cash grab to me.
I uninstalled it after two weeks of data gathering. It’s record data collection is rubbish. I installed pillow well see who’s more worst in tracking sleep.
