BLOCK Magazine for Android

Subscriber since 2014 to the printed Block, I love this as my reference, especially if I cannot find the book with the directions! Sometimes I put my magazine with a pattern/ kit and sometimes a friend borrows one for way too long! Lots of pattern options, precut options and lovely sample quilts, helps to get my creative side in gear. I learned to piece quilts from MSQC by following the simple directions. Helped me to venture out and challenge myself. Thank you for so many years of ideas and instructions.

Excellent visuals within this app. There is nothing that the folks at Missouri Star don’t excel at - and this app is no different.

I have been reading this ezine for a while now and feel like I can give a good overall rating of my experience with it. It arrives on time, it’s easy to open, colors and layout are pretty and cute, Jenny always does a great letter to kick off each issue, and Natalie usually does something special. The problem I have been noticing is that it’s repeating some patterns, the cat in particular, the variety of patterns to include precut patterns isn’t like it was and I miss the easy way it was laid out and the story was in the back. I am sure it’s just me.

Love Jenny and all the staff. They have taught me a lot over the past year and half. The Block Magazine is must have and the app I have with me where ever I go into any fabric store. This allows me to know how much fabric for any pattern I am going to quilt. Love it all. Rebecca G
