Good Eggs - Grocery Delivery for Android

The service itself and quality of produce is excellent, and we keep coming back for that reason. But as a weekly user the auto sign out behavior is very frustrating. In particular, it signs out too often (haven’t seen any other shopping app, Amazon etc. do this). Even worse, you can build a full cart first only to find out you’re not signed in at the end, after which logging in loses the entire cart. If this was fixed, the overall experience would be really smooth (some small other things like search not always giving great results).

I tried this for the first time last week and had a horrible experience. Less than 1/2 my order showed up, then after spending too much time with customer service, the second attempt to make things right was also incomplete. Total clown show, not to mention the quality of the food was sub par and the recipes were uninspiring. I will never use again

This app is a Ponzi scheme. I want all of my deliveries delivered in one day. I don’t want to be having deliveries every day of the week. They need to fix their supply chain. It’s a sham. They charge a lot. They charge a good jobs fee, and they charge delivery fees. It isn’t viable if your having to charge us a fee to pay your employees well. With the higher than usual profit margins from the markup, and the exorbitant fees it’s enough.

Used to be a great service; nearly flawless. Now expect to have items way past expedition or rotten, packed so they crush items or leak, and hours past delivery windows (you pay over $10 to select a 2 hour span). This device is barely usable and we uninstalled the app to go back to competitors where at least it was hit OR miss whereas GE is now all misses.

Good Eggs refuses to provide nutrition facts even when they’re available. They list the ingredients for people who have allergies which is great, but they do not photograph the nutrition label so people like me with medical conditions can’t easily determine what’s safe to consume (I have to monitor levels of various nutrient components). I have written to them a few times about this over the ~5 years I’ve been a customer and I always get the same response, “we don’t provide that now but maybe someday.” Because they could easily provide the info, it is a choice on their part not to, and I find this frustrating and not inclusive of people who need this information to make informed purchasing decisions. It seems like this would improve their business since a lot of the items they offer are off the beaten path, so nutrition facts help people decide if they want to try new products. Please prioritize including nutrition facts!
