The last update was plagued by bugs that effected basic play. My big thing, the keyboard is fixed. Looking forward to using the app again instead of giving friends a five minute explanation of how to handle the bugs and “how good it used to be.”
Says “no new letters added,” so obviously doesn’t recognize our Deluxe Scrabble Edition with dark red pieces for the camera option. What’s worse is when trying to enter letters manually the screen just jumps around under my finger, rather than opening the keyboard for entry. Was able to score 2 plays but don’t want to have to tap the screen a dozen times to get the app to respond. I’m using Android 12 Max and have no issues like this with any other app.
As other reviews have suggested, the keyboard input is extremely buggy, sometimes I have to close out of the input screen 6+ times to get the keyboard to appear. This really detracts from the experience and makes the app very frustrating to use. This is a breaking issue and should be addressed, especially given the fact that updates are being pushed on a regular basis.
wife and i love scrabble, and this app is great but unfortunately the in app purchases are not shared through family sharing.
This was once a great app but nothing works anymore.
