MPLS Parking for Android

Frustrating app to use. It uses zones to locate parking, but it doesn’t describe where or what that zone is. Try it I’m looking to park in the Hawthorne lot to go to the Orpheum Theatre. I assume it’s zone 173, but when you punch that in, it doesn’t say Hawthorne lot. It doesn’t say address. There’s nothing to confirm zone 173 actual location! Developers need to use actual use cases, with real people trying to do real things. If I’m trying to find parking near a theater, I need an app that lets me know where the parking is, lets me use the app to pay for parking, I shouldn’t have to be confused in speak its language of zones, especially when there’s no way to associate a zone with an actual location.

Parked outside Macphail last night and had an hour left on the meter when I returned to my car and saw a parking ticket. Double checked the parking spot and the license plate in app and it was correct. Ive used this app for years and loved it but does it no longer work?

The map does not have all street names on it making it difficult to find where you need a parking spot. Also keeps asking me to enter a new payment method. Entered 3 cards then is says the parking company only accepts Visa, MC … well I had put in 3 Visa cards. After all this, you have a credit card etc all entered it says it can not make a reservation. Um why not say that upfront once I chose the time and location? Great idea, poor execution.

I was trying to reserve future parking for a football game at US Bank stadium since I don’t go downtown often and find the parking situation very stressful. I found a ramp and quickly reserved a spot. I didn’t realize it defaults to the current time which I was obviously NOT downtown yet. I quickly (like within 1 minute) called their customer service line to have them cancel the reservation so I could revise the time to later. The woman on the phone said sure that she would submit the request for refund and then sent me a link to track my request. I have heard NOTHING from them yet and that was over 3 weeks ago. I’ve commented within the request tracker several times and emailed them. Still no response. In the meantime, the charge continues to appear on my credit card statement and it is NOT a small charge given it was event parking at US Bank Stadium. I’m guessing they just collect on people errors and then ignore any requests for cancelations. Very disappointed with the response and lack of service especially since I tried taking care of the issue with 1 minute of making the mistake.
