It's a lie. It's not free. And it won't let you close the page for some reason. Annoying and useless.

Trash and not free

This Chess app lets you download it, and then open it to be sent to a landing page with no way out, but to force you to pay for it. You have to leave the page and quit the app and uninstall it, because it is literally terrible.

Goes Right Into Subscription Screen ...

The only way to exit is to start the subscription. You get a free 3 day trial and then it is $11.99 per year. However, this is not a game for learning. You must know how to play already .. even though the tagline states Board Game: Learn Strategy. Once I cancelled the forced upon me subscription, I went in to play a "quick game" and found the graphics to be subpar and was frustrated that it was not a learning game, the way I thought it would be. I was also frustrated with that fact that once in the game, there were no buttons of any kind for me to click on to pause or stop the game. I had to click escape for something to appear. As for the gameplay, if you click on a piece it will show you where you can move but that is it.
