Furbo for Android

The idea behind it is nice. The app crashes quite often and 70% of the time is wrong about when my dog is actually barking. The 360 cam with treat dispenser is great when it works correctly.

We travel a lot and thought that this would be great for our RV. It initially worked (once) and we loved it. Then after that we spent more time trying to get it to work than out having fun knowing we could keep an eye on the dogs. SOLID wi-fi signal every time. That was not the issue. Yellow/green light. NOT the issue. We would get barking alerts, but have no way of talking to the dogs or throwing treats. Glitchy product and “support” is just some canned auto responses (no human contact). Not worth the money. We are buying a nanny cam instead. No frills, but at least it will work!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT!!!

When I first started using the app, I’d forced me to rate it. No option to skip. Still not enough experience to rate. That’s an automatic one-star for me. Seems to work okay, but needs a lot of work. I would also like to see a guest login that allows others to view without being able to change settings. My dogs have some people who I would like to be able to give the ability to talk to them but not view my home whenever they choose… like when I’m actually home.

I’m quite annoyed at how this only allows for the option to call your pets “dogs”. I have a cat and I’m sick and tired of getting alerts that say “your dog is active”. HES A CAT. I wish there was an option to choose what kind of pet you are monitoring (cat, dog, bunnies, ferrets, etc.). I’m quite sick of the dog culture in the U.S. that seems to put dogs above all other animals which is clearly a culture that’s leaking into business products such as Furbo. MAKE THIS PET FRIENDLY. Not “Dog Only” friendly.

If I could give the Furbo product and the Furbo app less than 1 star, I absolutely would. It’s the most overpriced trash on the market. The first Furbo that arrived legit didn’t even turn on. When they finally sent us a replacement 3 weeks later, we figured out how janky the app is. Absolutely worthless - works 40% at the most (and even that is generous). Returning the product and deleting this app, and will never invest in anything from this craptastic company ever again.
