Like it but would love MIDI learn to auto assign incoming cc/nprn to the selected LFO. That would be hugely helpful to avoid having to dig thru manuals to find model specific CC#s.
MidiLFOs provides superior visual feedback compared to the Rozeta LFO. Another good sign is A.K. also took the trouble to supply a pdf help manual that moves beyond the level of 'This a knob. It is my knob. I turn the knob left and I turn the knob right. The knob goes from 0 to 10...'. I appreciate this since I do not have a history of using midi hardware and so I'm thankful for pertinent discussion/instruction/how-to on the subject of Midi as it relates to this software synth realm I have recently found myself enjoying.
Amazing for procedural music, as I like to call it since I come from video games lol. This thing is perfect for modular synthesis, in more traditional musical terminology. If you know what youâre doing, you wonât regret buying this. And realistically, if you were looking for a MIDI LFO controller, yes you probably already know what youâre doing so just get it right now. My main suggestions about what to combine with this app: Step Poly ARP: turn the MIDI CC into notes somehow: I use the app Mozaic with a custom script I wrote, then quantize that to a scale and run it through an Arpeggiator. ApeMatrix: Super simple to send midi in interesting and dynamic ways, AUM and AudioBus lock you into a very linear workflow especially when setting MIDI up which can lead to slow innovation and creativity.
A nice update which allows you to run multiple instances for even more MIDI modulation LFO control of your setups.
I really love this app. The simplicity in the user interface makes using it easy and yet still reveals some fun complexities. The fact that it can handle clock inputs and CC control as well as modulate each other makes this app super flexible. I wish the visual waveforms of the user-interface would more closely match the path of the output. I also wish that I could control the range values by pinching the waveform and sliding up and down to create an offset in the value range. I would also change the current feature named âoffsetâ to âphaseâ.
