Every time I hit the button to enter the Wi-Fi to set up a new device it takes me to the settings. I have all the permissions turned on and it doesn’t work
When setting up a new light bulb, the device can’t be found on the iOS app. The recommended fix is to use an Android phone. The steps to manually set up link to the phone settings with no action to perform leaving in a stuck place. I’ve tried several bulbs with no luck.
Sign In with Google does not work. I created a new account using Sign In with Google and the app still wouldn’t sign me in. The app wanted to have my actual email address (after I requested to hide my real email using Sign In with Google) and it wanted me to change my password after signing in with Google?? Sounds shady to me… I can never get past the login screen because the app is so dang buggy and poorly written. This app looks suspicious and highly questionable to me. Google should really review this app for security. I ended up deleting the app and I’m going to try to run the HomeKit device from the Home app if I can. Not sure if I’ll be able to update the lamp I purchased with out the app but we’ll see.
The most recent update deleted everything. Completely rediculous. It’ll take me hours to redo every single customization for every single light.
I shouldn’t have to make an account to use the app just to control a light. The app looks sketchy and I don’t want to have to signup just to use a light!
