CARL for Android

I bought this because I thought it would work with midi files. It does not. It supports connecting midi instruments, but not opening existing midi files. Disappointed. Also, it crashed within a few seconds of my install.

Have you ever wanted to make your own chip tunes but had no place to turn besides super difficult tracker software such as Milkytracker? I have found myself in that situation for several years. I have been wishing for a chip tune app that includes the few features I want and excludes the many I don’t want, or can’t understand. CARL is fun and easy to use. The fifteen bucks I paid for it were well worth the hundreds of hours I was going to have to spend learning to use some other tracker. No offense to the complicated tracker croud, I just don’t have the time to learn all that stuff. CARL is for people like me who need less of a learning curve and more creative time. It needs some documentation, but I’m sure that’s on the way.
