Beditations for Android

Edit: Thanks for the response! I should have noted that the app is fantastic. I just use the morning affirmations the most. But I appreciate all the work put into the app, so I’m changing to 4 stars. 😁 I beg you to replace the woman with the breathy baby voice. I’m sure she’s a great person, but her voice makes it impossible to listen to the affirmations. If you’re old enough to remember Victoria Jackson from SNL, it’s like she started recording self-help messages and tried putting the emPHAsis on different sylLAbles with every repetition. Please hire someone with a more appropriate voice. 😫

I love the concept of this app. When it works it’s super helpful. However...you have to keep the app open and it needs to be the current app up on my screen for it to work. If I leave it open and go to another app after setting the alarm it turns the alarm off. Took me awhile to figure that out and sometimes I still make the mistake of clicking out and forgetting that turns the alarm off. Other times it just doesn’t go off in the morning for no apparent reason. I wish it worked consistently then it would be 5 stars - and I’d be interested in subscribing too.

I wanted something easy to set up and figure out. Initially I found myself absolutely befuddled! Then I “got” it! Perhaps I was merely brain dead at the time. Once the instructions sunk in it was difficult to navigate. I’m amazed at the number of meditations. And it was nice waking up to one, though I fell back asleep! Lol! Next time i will have a back up alarm just in case! Brilliant idea and very well executed! Apologies for my reactive reviewing! I’m glad I could make it right here, It was bothering me.

But i tried it. Kinda nice. Tried it again, checked out more settings. Used it every night. I Look forward to the place it puts me in enabling me to relax and go to sleep!
