GPS Odometer for Android

Have the free version. Its simple but does the job. Love it. Glad to see that good apps for free are still out there.

First time I tried this application—I want a simple odometer to track distance and speed period. Speed showed at 12 mph slowly decreasing to what I believe my rate was around 3.6 mph and it took 20 min. Distance seem to lag as well on the low side. I walk 1.2 or so miles and it registered only .6 miles. Am deleting this app from my phone.

I just downloaded and used this app. I’m not very technical and found the app easy to navigate and love the pause feature so the time doesn’t continue to run.

As others have stated, this app provides the basic information - distance, speed and time - which was what I was looking for on my weekly recreational bike rides. The other apps I looked at had way too many additional features that I did not want. The display is clean and easy to read as I ride. Unobtrusive ad banner at the bottom. When I stopped the app at the end of my ride, a larger ad did appear, which was easily bypassed.

Android X IOS 11.4.1 GPS Odometer 2.4 I wanted a GPS-based app to measure the distance of my daily walk. A basic one with simple controls and a clear display with no cluttering, unwanted “features”. Of the several GPS walking distance apps that I’ve tried, this one best fits my requirements. Very accurate too. I determined accuracy by walking the same route many times, and seeing very similar distance reports. I now have the “Pro” version of this app, which eliminates ads, and provides a few useful features.
