Hard to connect

Smart Connect

I have had my hearing aids for 4 going on 5 years. ($7500.00) later and 4 or 5 Smart Connect devices I am exploring other options. I’m deaf without the HA and I really need the device for phone calls. Last time it was under warranty and the company still charged me. Anyone have any other devices they would recommend??

Why?

This app looked good at the beginning, but after a couple of months of use it’s flaws were readily apparent. As a systems designer and programmer for the past 40 years, it is obvious that the developers of this app stopped early with their support. Or was it dictated by the hearing aid manufacturer? Hearing aids last a long time, just like computers, cars, and people. Stopping support after a few years speaks volumes. The hearing aids will last longer than this attempt at what could have been an outstanding app.
