Minesweeper !! for Android

Don’t know why the reviews are so negative, It is Minesweeper with 4 challenge levels. You have to Right-Click and hold until the square turns into a Flag, then Right and Left click at the same time to sweep out adjecent non-mine squares. I think all the 1 ratings are unfair, that’s why I’m giving it a 5 and not a 4. It would be better (faster) if you could just right click to Flag a Mine, but what are you gonna do? Its MineSweeper, not Call of Duty 4.

Big problems with design: -Right click feature is buggy. You have to hold down the right click button to place a flag, which makes the game slow and easy to fail at. -There is nothing in the help menu signifying controls (something mentioning how to hold down the right button would’ve been nice, even though it’s bad design.) If this simple problem is fixed the game would be a lot better.

This game is exteremly fun. The game is much more in-depth than several other free versions of Minesweeper and has the quality of a paid game. It has 4 difficulty levels, and has a simple interface that is easy to use and understand. It also pauses the clock if you click out of the window. Several other reviewers express concern about being unable to place flags. I figured out how to do this. To place a flag, simply click AND HOLD the square where you think the mine is. The same method will remove the flag. It just took a little experimentation. Overall, very fun game, and I am extremely satisfied.

If there is a way to flag mines, I don’t know what it is. A simple instructions page would do wonders for this app. Try another one instead.
