Daily Kiddo for Android

We love the app and have been using it for a while. Every year their website goes down for several days and we can’t login or use it. You can’t email or get support either since it’s down. I would recommend using a different app if you haven’t started yet.

I have been using this app for well over three years now. It came highly recommended to me when I had my daughter three years ago and I had begun using it and uploading photos and sharing it with family. I had well over two years of photos and videos on my timeline when one day I login and nothing was there. Thinking I was crazy I reach out the family and friends to confirm that indeed photos I had posted suddenly went missing. I submitted a support ticket to Daily Kiddo and after several conversations come to discover that they only have one support person; Marlene. Marlene informed me that Daily Kiddo has no back-up system in place. Yes you are reading this correctly, a photo timeline service like Daily Kiddo has no backup system in place. Only if we could passed since I had reported the issue and they were still unable to restore. I can see this being a problem if it has been months or years but you’re telling me you don’t store seven days worth of backup?!?! It seems crazy to me that a company that is offering to handle such precious memories like those photos of your kids has no active back up program or process in place. Even competitor apps like 23snaps and Tinybeans have AWS and Azure services that would allow them to restore lost photos and videos if needed. Don’t make the same mistake I made, don’t use Daiky Kiddo.

So easy to use. Love it for sharing kiddo photos with our family around the world.

I really like this app. It’s easy for my grandpa to see the pics. Unfortunately No one is receiving notification that new pics are posted. This started after 12/23. Folks got that notification but not the next one I posted. I have confirmed with people they are not getting them. Some were using email and some the app notification. My 95 yo grandpa needs it to be easy. None of my settings look different. Please help I tried the help request in the App Store but it won’t submit.

I have been using this app for 4 1/2 years to share pictures and videos of my daughter with our family. The grandparents who aren’t in social media love it!
