iMacro for Android

Mostly this is the most difficult logging app I’ve ever used. Impossible to get through the “required “ info. I want my money back!!!

I paid $4.99 for this app in search of something better than MyFitnessPal or MyPlate by Livestrong and I have been disappointed. The scanner is extremely difficult to use and almost never has what I scan in the inventory of foods. It’s really difficult to add items ad hoc and almost every time I switch back to MyPlate it has “verified” information for the foods and seems to be much more accurate than iMacro. I would like to keep using this because I like the “Food Score” functionality but this app needs some major major updates starting with the food scanner and getting verified information of the foods consumed.

This app is trash. After downloading it, I received several screen pop up notifications saying that my calendar was hacked/bugged. I go to my calendar and there are random events, at least 8-10 added every single day. It wasn’t until I deleted the app along with this “new” calendar that showed up with the download that my calendar went back to normal and I stopped receiving the warning messages. I reported it and hope to get a refund. It’s trash.

There are so many of these type of apps out there but when your on a budget those monthly fees can kill you. This app is pretty easy to use and though it may not be perfect the issues are minor and easy to work around. It really helps you keep an eye on your intake i log everything good or bad to be the most honest with myself. But again great app give it a try.
