Qardio heart health for Android

The Qardio blood pressure device became useless for me one day, suddenly, when the app started to crash. It will show the green startup screen for a few seconds and then it will simply crash. I waited a while for Qardio to fix their bugs, but it’s been over a year now and the latest version of the app still crashes every time. Since there is no alternative way to use the device, it’s a brick. Useless. I already had to buy a simple drug-store blood pressure monitor long ago. So, I’m throwing this brick in the trash now. I’ll think twice in the future before buying a device that’s useless without an app, since apps flake out and companies don’t always support them.

This app isn’t that user friendly or have the ability to share info with a caregiver or doctor.

Apparently Qardio and many other medical apps allow users to believe they are fully integrated with Google Health. Although Qardio seemingly allows the user to believe that Qardio will read weight, body temperature, and blood oxygen recorded in Health, the reality is that Qardio will accept body temperature data only from its own app using its product. I have this as the truth from their support team. I can imagine that this is not a priority for some Qardio users. But there are some of us with health issues and we have several medical apps. So we count on Health being the app to collect it all, make it available to other apps, and then the other apps use that data. So that a user can see updated data relevant in any medical app that they have on their phone.

I downloaded the app but it won’t recognize my new account and though my Bluetooth is on it insists it’s not and just circles in a loop. Thanks for nothing

I got the Qardio BP cuff for my elderly dad. He doesn’t have an Android but has an Mobile. Makes most sense for him because of the bigger screen and he doesn’t really have a need for a smartphone. It would be great if this app had an Mobile layout. Right now it’s still an Android app and looks strange.
